My Top 3 NBA Power Forward's

My top three players at the four position

📬Power Forward Rankings🏀

Part 2 of the ‘BRB Marathon’ and I am going through my top 3 Power Forwards from this season. Picking the 3rd ranked guy was super difficult and I could see a few guys being third. Some honorable mentions for the top three are
Siakam, Jaren Jackson Jr, Paolo, Julius Randle, etc.

Three

  • Karl-Anthony Towns

Currently putting up 22/8/3 on 51/43/88 splits and he is a part of the first seed in the West; KAT has been hooping. He is the number two option on this amazing team that is first in defense. He may not be a great defender but he helps the struggling offensive side of his counterpart, Rudy Gobert. If he can stay healthy and continue his efficiency in which he is shooting the ball, the Wolves can be a scary matchup in the postseason.

Two

  • Kevin Durant

The best scorer of all time. He is still doing his thing despite getting up there in age, KD continues to be the slim reaper we have all known to love (or hate) over the past decade. This dude is averaging 28/6/5 on 53/42/85% splits. He alongside Devin Booker and a healthy Brad Beal can wreak havoc on any team in the playoffs. Relatively healthy year for KD, he is playing some of his best ball since he left Golden State in 2019.

One

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Greek Freak. He is still one of the best players in the NBA and is making a case for his third MVP award this season. Putting up a whopping 30/11/6 on 62% from the field he is virtually unstoppable. His three-point jumper remains a huge negative but he is hitting short midrange jumpers more and more often. Being a threat outside of just the paint is helping him at an extraordinary level. The addition of Dame also is benefiting him by having tremendous spacing with such a three-point threat in Damian Lillard. The Bucks have been a little underwhelming but if they can put it together on the defensive end with new head coach Doc Rivers, they will be back to title contenders.

The power forward position has recently become more and more talented with star players such as Giannis and Kevon Durant. Being able to rely on a power forward to go get your team a bucket is such a valuable asset in today’s game and winning a title often comes down to how good the power forward can play their role.
