Is a Husky or a Wolverine Stronger?

Washington vs. Michigan for the natty...who you got?

WolverineđŸș or HuskyđŸ¶?

The 2024 National Championship is set! Washington and Michigan advanced to see who is the best college football team this season. On New Year’s Day, Michigan took down Alabama, and Washington held off Texas in 2 CFP classics. Let’s talk about what I saw. Michigan DOMINATED to line. Milroe got sacked 6 times which is a recipe for disaster. They also held him to 63 rushing yards on 21 CARRIES!?! A QB should never run the ball 21 times in a game, I do not care who you are. Michigan’s defense is wild, but also their run game. They are what I would call the college Baltimore Ravens. Amid all of that, the most surprising thing to me was the play call to tie the game in overtime. What was Bama thinking? A QB draw in the middle where Michigan had killed the whole game. In their defense, the snap was low and that might’ve caused Jalen to panic and made him think he had to make a play on his own, but if that was the call
Saban is COOKED. On the other side, Washington almost sold the game so badly. But omg, 430 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 picks?!?! Penix is a dog, but I am worried NFL scouts are going to look at his injury history over his arm talent. He had some absolute dimes, but the one that caught my eye more than the others was on first down with 10 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, https://twitter.com/kicks/status/1742019860027130064 (kicks/via X). I don’t know how he put the ball right around the DB’s arm in a spot where only his receiver would catch it. He should be a first-round pick for a team looking for a high-floor QB. The other QB also played great, Quinn Ewers had 318 through the air with 54 on the ground. I love Ewers because of how he handled the “doubters” after last season, he got in shape, cut his ugly hair, and proved people wrong. With that being said, Washington held off the Texas comeback in the 4th to lead them to Houston for the national championship. What do I think about the game? Michigan or Washington? I have 0 clue. I think it all comes down to whether Washington can give Penix enough time in the pocket. If they let him sit there and make a play then Washington should win convincingly. If they are able to take an early lead and force JJ McCarthy to beat them with his arm, they should be fine. if they allow Blake Corum to run all over them and score at will
they are in for a long night. This is going to be a top-tier defense in Michigan vs a top-tier offense in Washington. I could see this going either way, but I am gonna take Washington. Partially because I do not like Michigan, but also because I see the throws Penix makes and it is unbelievable. Score prediction
Washington 31 Michigan 24. Let me know who you have winning 👇
