!Championship Round Predicts!

The divisional round is completed and there is only one more round before the SUPER BOWL. Here is what I think will happen this weekend.

Matchups

• Detroit Lions @ San Fransisco 49ers

Both of these teams won by one score and got a game-sealing interception. Jordan Love almost did the unthinkable beating the one-seed Niners, but Dre Greenlaw proed otherwise. He had two interceptions including the game-winner on a terrible throw by Love. This week, the 9ers will be up for an even bigger challenge with the offensive juggernaut Detroit Lions. Jared Goff is playing the best ball of his career with help from star wide receiver Amon Ra St. Brown, rookie tight end Sam Laporta, and rookie sensation Jahmyr Gibbs. This is going to be a back-and-forth matchup but I think the winner comes down to who will win the turnover battle. I think that will end up being the San Francisco 49ers.

• Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens

Once again, the Chiefs dramatically beat the Bills. I was pretty annoyed because I do not like the Chiefs, but they earned that one. Not too many controversial calls that shifted the game, just pure out hustle. On the other hand, the Ravens still dominated. They started slow but got it together in the second half. They outscored the Texans 24-0 after the break with another dominant Lamar Jackson performance. Only had 152 passing yards, but he had a team-high, 100 with his legs. 4 total TDs with two passing and two rushing. The defense also showed out once again. They did not allow a single offensive touchdown to the Texans and only gave up a field goal. Looking ahead to this week, I think the Ravens are the best team left and will continue that this week. The Chiefs offense looked good but they did not play as good of a defense as Baltimore. The Ravens will contain Mahomes and Pacheco and punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.

I know it’s boring to have the two top seeds play in the Bowl but I truly think it will happen and be a better rematch of what happened on Christmas Day.
